The Community House, at 2173 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel, will present the following:

Painting with Friends

Painting with Friends will take place on Nov. 20 from 1 to 4 p.m. Cost is $10 per person. Artists of all levels of expertise are welcome, as long as they bring their own supplies and are able to paint independently. This is a non instructional gathering, though gentle critiques may be given if requested. Painting and drawing only; no crafts. For information, call Jane Hudson at 239-466-0244 or 239-464-6936.

All-Level Yoga

All-Level Yoga will be held on Nov. 21 from 10 to 11 a.m. with instructor Dr. Susan Pataky, of Sanibel Yoga. Open to beginners and those with and level of experience. Cost is $18 for members and $20 for non-members; class packages available. For information, call 239-738-3856.

Gentle Yoga

Gentle Yoga will be held on Nov. 21 from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. with instructor Dr. Susan Pataky, of Sanibel Yoga. Designed for those who want or need a slower approach to yoga. Cost is $18 for members and $20 for non-members; class packages available. For information, call 239-738-3856.

Community Social

A Community Social will take place on Nov. 22 from 6 to 8 p.m., with the theme of "British Pub Night." The menu will feature: tomato and basil soup, coronation chicken salad, and chicken liver pate with pickles and chutney for starters; and fish and chips, bangers and mash, beef and stout pie, roasted potatoes and steamed vegetables for the main dishes. For a $5 donation, the desserts will include sticky toffee pudding and an ice cream sundae bar with caramel and chocolate sauces. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. Tickets are $15 in advance or $18 at the door, if seats are available.

Annual Thanksgiving Celebration

The Annual Thanksgiving Celebration will take place on Nov. 24 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Open to the public, it will feature a non-denominational service, musical performances and more. Canned goods will be collected to benefit F.I.S.H. of Sanibel-Captiva.

Impasto Oil Painting

Impasto Oil Painting will be held on Nov. 25 from 9:30 a.m. to noon with Suzette. The subject will be a 10-by-10 shorebird. Participants will take home a finished work of art. Open to ages 12 and older. Cost is $45 for members and $55 for non-members.

Monday Current Events

Normally held at BIG ARTS, Monday Current Events will take place on Nov. 25 at 10 a.m. Enjoy lively discussion of the biggest headlines. For information, contact Malcolm Martini at 239-395-1362 or mlmartini@icloud.com.

Shell Crafters

Shell Crafting Class will be held on Nov. 25 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Make flower figures or animals. Limited class size; first come first served. Children must be accompanied by an adult due to the complexity/dexterity required.

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa Yoga will be held on Nov. 26 from 10 to 11 a.m. with instructor Dr. Susan Pataky, of Sanibel Yoga. Open to those with at least one-plus year of experience, with committed consistent practice. Master Art Festival

The Master Art Festival will take place on Nov. 29-30 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. A donation will be collected at the gate to benefit the Sanibel Community Association and BIG ARTS.

The Community House is taking soup and stew orders for pick up in November and December, with the proceeds to benefit children's scholarships for the Culinary Education Center of Sanibel.
