Saint Michael Lutheran School held its 5th Annual Fishin' With A Mission tournament on May 19 at the South Seas Island Resort.

There were a total of 29 participating boats in the traditional angler tourney, as well as almost 90 children in the Rockin' the Dock youth competition. According to organizers, the children take over the marina at South Seas and fish for prizes. Capt. James Marko donated the rod and reel combinations.

It is the second largest fundraiser for the school, organizers reported. The proceeds raised from this year's event will go toward toward security updates and a School Resource Officer at the school.
